The characters that I create tend to embody my favorite punk aesthetics, with varying levels of queerness thrown in the mix. Freedom of expression in the realms of gender and sexuality is so fucking punk to me, however I do feel somewhat pressured to portray what most people think queerness is "supposed to look like." Very bluntly, I create iterations of how I'd like to see myself, but obviously, illustrating my own personal projections is a very limiting view of the very diverse realm of gender expression. Of course, being a genderfluid person myself, I remember that my experiences and resulting creations are valid nonetheless!
